Private Mediation Centre in the Balearic Islands. In our space we work with MIND, EMOTION and BODY.
Mercè Pomar Espai is a project that starts in 2023 with a professional approach and praxis to create the first private mediation centre in the Balearic Islands, located in Ciutadella de Menorca, which promotes and manages alternative dispute resolution.
From the centre we contribute to peace and social welfare, based on a dialogue that facilitates understanding between people. Thus, we aim to improve coexistence through the experience that conflict resolution brings us closer together and shows us what we have in common.
In our centre we apply techniques compiled from years of work and training experience, fed from different sources such as: mediation, Neuro-linguistic programming, brief systemic therapy, non-violent communication, among many others…
We offer legal services and private mediation services, both in family and individual cases, from a social and psychological perspective.
Mercè Pomar Espai offers a quiet and trustworthy space in Ciutadella de Menorca, where people who are willing to seek agreements and manage those situations in which differences arise in any area of relationship can meet.
“When a door closes, a window opens”, so let us be the ones to look for those windows and open them.
At our private mediation centre, we offer a wide range of services to help you resolve disputes effectively and efficiently.
Mediation and conciliation are two alternative dispute resolution methods that seek to facilitate dialogue and agreement between the parties involved.
We accompany our clients through all phases of the life cycle concerned with the necessary multidisciplinary approach.
Dynamics of self-awareness, goal setting, elaboration and implementation of action plans, acting as a facilitating element that favours a dynamic of personal transformation and change.
In our space, we design each training as a big project with an objective and a methodology, although it is the participants who ultimately determine how it evolves and how it develops.
We strive to provide personalised coverage in all our areas of intervention, achieving the best results.

Conflict is a part of life. We cannot avoid them, but we can decide how to deal with them.
We can decide whether it is really worth it to engage in a gruelling struggle or whether our mental equilibrium is more important. We cannot control the circumstances that often give rise to conflict, but we can choose how we react. And sometimes that is enough to change everything.

Mediation is a collaborative method of conflict management outside the judicial sphere. It involves the active participation of the parties involved, with the help of an impartial mediator. This professional facilitates a space for dialogue where the parties can resolve their disagreements in a collaborative manner, seeking mutually satisfactory agreements. Mediation can be initiated before, during or after judicial proceedings, addressing both family and civil matters.
Mediation is oriented towards families seeking joint decisions on family matters and resolution of relational conflicts (family mediation). It is also applied to individuals in the civil sphere, dealing with conflicts in organisations, neighbourhood relations, companies and other aspects of civil law (civil mediation).
The mediation space deals with a variety of situations, such as separation of couples, cohabitation between parents and children, family organisation for the care of grandparents, succession of family businesses, deteriorating relationships in organisations, neighbourhood conflicts, work and business relationships, as well as disputes between people who work together.
